Assignment 5: Motion

Assignment Description: In this assignment  I showed the audience a girl named Gina in mid motion. these pictures turned out pretty cool. these pictures went very fast and i had to take lots of them and only a couple turned out really good.

What I have leanred. I didnt learn anything because in this assignment we were to use our knowledge and add an image and use the tool like cropping, selecting scaling and all those good things.

Motion Assignment Demo

Assignment Discreption: In this assignment we had to get a bike and put it in the commons and take a picture of that person riding a bike. The object of the assignment was to keep the subject in focus but the backround out of focus.

What I've Learned: I learned a technique in taking motion pictures called panning. but first you have to focus in on an object because there is no suject because obviously the person is comming through. you have to match the exact pace of the person so the picture can turn out exactly how you have planned.

Assignment Descriptions: In this assignment I had to take a picture in black and white using the composition elements. I have a couple of macro and rule of thirds and even depth of field along with portrait.

Panoramic Assignment

Assignment description: In this assignment we were to take 3 pictures of relatively the same spot. these pictures were to have a 20% overlay so we could turn it into one. The tools we used were  shear, shape, erase and crop.









What I've learned: i have learned how to make a Panoramic picture. It takes  a lot of time but it turns our pretty cool. We learned how to Crop (again) Shear the Picture and stretch it. We had to change the color level so everything matched up and erased everything that didn't.

Portrait Assignment

Assignment Description:

in this assignment I had to bring the life out of people with these set up pictures. At first i stood out in the hallway with a poster as the fill light. The other pictures were taken in a studio with a bunch of lights. As you see below, Ameen is a model.

What I've learned: I have learned how to set up a portrait picture. It cannot be just in any place, it has to be set up with lights and a whole bunch of other stuff. Fill lights and key lights are the main part of it so there are no shadows on the face.

Suddendorf's gimp car

assignment description: in this assignment we were to take a picture of a car and edit it. we took out all the things that made it look bad and turned it into something beautiful.







What I have learned: I have learned how to take out things that you don't want in the picture by using cloning and coloring. This assignment was actually pretty fun compared to the other lab assignments. probably because we got to look at a sweet car for an hour but I learned a lot from it.

GIMP assignment

In this assignment we learned how to resize, crop. and add color to the images. We had to take one picture and turn it into four colorful pictures to make a spiffy picture. he learned how to use layers, guides, resizing and canvas, threshold dialog and anchoring a layer.



What I have learned about Gimp: I didn't like this project very much. it was frustrating and it took a couple times to get it. even though I didn't like this project, I learned how to crop, resize layer and make the picture multiple colors.

In this assignment, we were to take pictures of the different elements of composition. there are 11 different elements in composition, it includes, rule of thirds, depth of field, pattern, symmetric, lines, texture, space, color, balance, perspective, and framing.
